Futures FAM1 Honeycomb Tri Fin Set Medium - Blue
The Futures AM1 Honeycomb, designed by Al Merrick of Channel Island Surfboards, is a medium-size Balanced fin with a Ride Number of 4.6. Featuring a neutral flex pattern this fin is a more versatile option for bigger surfers in comparison to the Techflex model. The AM1 Honeycomb fin is designed to perform in a variety of conditions. It features a smaller centre fin for increased manoeuvrability and has a wide base for drive off of the bottom, more rake for big carves and a finer tip for release off of the top.
Honeycomb Construction:
A lightweight hexagonal core gives these fins the feel of glass-ons. Engineered with a medium flex pattern, these are stiffer than Blackstix but more flexible than Fibreglass.
Foil:
Flat foiled fins break free sooner, and are better at controlling speed. Often surfers prefer them in fast powerful surf where they do not need to create additional speed. If you have muscle memory from riding glass-ons, flat foiled fins will feel the closest.
