The Inner Lining
A Nixsa Wetsuit has an extra warm, high pile internal lining from chest to ankles. This material traps air and provides great insulation. The patternation of the lining is designed specifically with faster drying in mind.
The Seams
All seams are first glued, then stitched and then taped for ultimate strength and endurance. Gluing and blind stitching the neoprene on a Nixsa Wetsuit reduces the chances of water entering at the seams and provides a flexible and robust seal. For added assurance and comfort all of the seams throughout the entire suit are taped.
The Knees
The knee pads on a Nixsa Wetsuit are abrasion resistant, offering complete comfort during wearing and movement. The reinforced material at the knees gives you extra protection and increases the suits durability. Embossing at the back of the knee means greater flexibility and improved performance.
The Neck Opening, Zip and Stopper
Our easy entry neck system means that getting your Nixsa Wetsuit on and off is quick and easy. Each suit has a YKK horizontal zipper at the front, meaning that you have a heavy-duty, long-lasting fastening that is lightweight. There is also an elastic chest toggle tensioner so that you can get the closest fit and minimise flushing.
The Chest and Calf Drainage
With drain holes at the front and back of the chest water can escape easily if it enters. An area of specialist Aqua Flush neoprene structure at the lower leg also allows water to escape.
The Collarbone and Cuff Seal
The printing at the collarbone and cuffs provides an added barrier to reduce flushing, for a closer and warmer fit.
The Key Loop
A key loop inside the chest zip keeps your key safe.
When water temperatures drop, the Nixsa Men’s 4/3mm Full Length Chest Zip Wetsuit keeps you warm, agile, and ready to push your limits. Made with premium Yamamoto neoprene, it delivers unmatched insulation without adding bulk, ensuring excellent freedom of movement in the shoulders and arms.
The 4/3mm thickness offers the perfect blend of warmth and flexibility for cooler conditions, making it your go-to suit for extended sessions through autumn and early winter. A high-performance chest zip system provides easy entry and a watertight seal, while sealed seams prevent flushing to maintain core heat.
Built for watermen who demand both warmth and manoeuvrability, this wetsuit is engineered to help you stay comfortable and focused, no matter how heavy the swell or how crisp the breeze.
What is Yamamoto Limestone Neoprene?
Choosing Yamamoto isn’t just about performance—it’s also about reducing our environmental footprint. Limestone-based neoprene has a lower carbon impact, requires less energy to produce, and results in a wetsuit that lasts longer, meaning less waste over time.
Every panel in a Nixsa wetsuit is cut and assembled to maximise these benefits, ensuring the perfect blend of warmth, durability, and sustainability. From Cornwall’s icy winter swells to warm summer surf abroad, Nixsa wetsuits made from Yamamoto Japanese limestone rubber keep you in your element—delivering world-class performance while respecting the world we love.
