For special orders and custom boards from Bell Surf (Sharpeye, Christiaan Bradley, Phil Grace or Mark Richards) please see the product page for the current estimated delivery times. They vary based on seasonal demand - message us if you'd like to check before you order.
If you'd like to return your order, this must be done within 30 days of purchase. The product must be resellable in brand new condition in its original packaging - unused.
To start a return;
1| Go to your order page in your website account, find the order and start a return.
2| We will then advise you of the address to send the package (we operate from several stock locations).
3| Choose a courier and we advise to use one with tracking such as Royal Mail Special Delivery or Evri. Please clearly enclose either your order confirmation or a clear reference of the order number.a
4| Please allow 3-5 days for refunds to be issued to your original payment method. The original shipping will not be refunded.
Custom surfboards CANNOT be returned for a full refund - as the custom built board is made to order, parts of the board can be marked and the original packaging removed. This means the product is not able to be sold again, and therefore cannot be fully refunded. We may be able to accept the return of a custom surfboard for a partial refund or credit on your Green Overhead account.

These boards feature a Premium Epoxy Resin Tint finish. This traditional technique creates a deep, vibrant, and translucent colour that is "in" the resin, not just painted on. Because each board is hand-laminated and hand-finished, the tint creates unique colours and sometimes patterns, ensuring your board is a one-of-a-kind work of art. Combined with modern FCS II fin boxes (the most versatile system on the market), these boards offer vintage soul, wave catching ease combined with the reliability and performance of today's best materials.

The options shown on the right here aren’t generic suggestions, they’ve been carefully selected in collaboration with FCS, based on our real world tests of this board’s shape and how it performs in the water.
The Heritage Egg works across a wide range of conditions — knee-high to overhead and beyond. The wide outline and generous volume make it quick to paddle and easy to catch waves on, even in smaller or messier surf. As conditions improve, the shaped rails and bottom contour give more experienced surfers the tools to push harder. In everyday UK surf it's hard to beat as an all-round option.
Yes — at 51 litres, the Heritage Egg has enough volume and stability for a beginner who is ready to progress onto a hard board. The rounded outline is forgiving and predictable, which builds confidence quickly. Crucially, it's also a board that grows with you — as your surfing develops, the egg shape rewards better technique with a more responsive, engaging ride. You won't outgrow it quickly.
A thruster is a three-fin setup — one centre fin and two side fins. It's the most widely used configuration in modern surfing, offering a balance of drive, control, and manoeuvrability. The three fins work together to give the board hold through turns and stability at speed. The Heritage Egg's FCS II finboxes are compatible with the full range of FCS II thruster sets, and we've hand-picked the options we think work best with this specific shape.
The Heritage Egg comes in at 42.49 litres, which makes it accessible across a wide range of surfer weights and abilities. As a general guide, beginners tend to benefit from volume at around 100% of their body weight in kilograms, while intermediate surfers can go somewhat lower and advanced surfers lower still. An egg surfboard is a mid-length shape — typically 6 to 8 feet — with a wide, rounded nose and tail, soft rails, and a low-to-moderate rocker. The name comes from the board's oval outline. Eggs sit between a longboard and a shortboard in terms of feel: they paddle well and catch waves easily, but are more manoeuvrable than a traditional longboard. They've been a staple shape since the late 1960s and remain one of the most practical and enjoyable all-round designs available.
